The company was founded by Horst Julius Pudwill and Roy Chi Ping Chung (锺志平) GBS BBS JP in 1985,[3] TTI's brand portfolio includes Milwaukee, AEG Power Tools, Ryobi, Homelite, Empire, Stiletto, Hoover US, Hart, Oreck, Vax, and Dirt Devil.[4] It has a worldwide customer reach and over 30,000 staff. In 2019, TTI reached worldwide annual sales of over US$7.7 billion.[5]
