Thondi

Thondi or Tondi is a Panchayat town in Ramanathapuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.It is located 48Km North from district headquarters Ramanathapuram. It is believed to be an ancient port site of Pandiyan kingdom.[1][2] The famous Sri Sarvatheertheswarar Temple at Marungur, Theerthandathanam is located little northerly to Thondi.[3]
