Titus Otacilius Crassus (praetor 217 BC)

Titus Otacilius Crassus was a Roman Praetor in 217 BC. He was in charge of a fleet in Lilybaeum, which he used to raid Africa in 215 and 212. In 214 he stood to obtain the consulship but was deprived of his consulship by Fabius Maximus. Instead, he received a second praetorship. He may have been a pontif or augur. He would also go on to be governor of Sicilia.[1] He commanded the Lilybaeum fleet from 213 to 211, indecisively maneuvering against the Carthaginian admiral Bomilcar.

He died naturally in 211 BC.[2]
