USCGC Reliance (WSC-150)

USCGC Reliance (WSC-150) was a 125-foot (38 m) Active-class patrol boat of the United States Coast Guard.[1]

She served from 1927 to 1948.[1][2]

In a 2014 interview, 94-year-old veteran Melvin Bell described serving on Reliance in 1939.[3] He said he had good shipmates, good food, but that vessels like Reliance had limited supplies of fresh water.

USCGC Reliance inspected the French Frigate Shoals in March 1936.[4]
