Valentin Nikolayev (footballer)

Valentin Aleksandrovich Nikolayev (Russian: Валентин Александрович Николаев; August 16, 1921 in Yerosovo, Vladimir Governorate October 9, 2009 in Moscow) was a Soviet football player and coach.

International career

Nikolayev made his debut for USSR on July 20, 1952 in an Olympics game against Bulgaria. As a manager, he was in charge of USSR national football team from October 1970 until the end of 1971.
