Vladimir Rodić

Vladimir Rodić (Serbian Cyrillic: Владимир Родић, pronounced [roːditɕ]; born 7 September 1993) is a Serbian-born Montenegrin football midfielder who plays for Hammarby IF in Allsvenskan.[2][3][4]

On October 2, 2015, he got a first call-up by Branko Brnović to the Montenegro national football team.[5]

Club career

Malmö FF

In 2015, Rodić turned down Atlético Madrid to sign to Malmö FF.[6]

Hammarby IF

On 7 August 2018, he transferred from Silkeborg IF to Hammarby IF, thus returning for a second stint in the Swedish Allsvenskan.[4] Rodić signed a three and a half-year deal with Hammarby,[3] for a reported club record fee of around 5 million Swedish kronor (approximately £0,5 million).[7][8]

International career

Rodić made his debut for Montenegro in an October 2015 European Championship qualification match against Austria in Podgorica and has earned a total of 5 caps, scoring no goals. His final international was a March 2016 friendly match against Belarus.[9]
