WRVO Public Media is a non-profit, public radio station which relies on the voluntary contributions of our listeners.[4] WRVO accepts donations online every day of the year, and focuses on listener contributions twice a year during annual fundraisers. On air fundraisers generally occur in the fall and spring.

Listeners who contribute $500 or more during a year are members of WRVO's Cornerstone Society [5] Cornerstone members receive special benefits including exclusive event invitations and on-air recognition.

Local businesses and organizations support WRVO Public Media by underwriting WRVO programming.[4] Underwriters reach as many as 100,000 listeners each week in central and northern New York. More information on tax-deductible underwriting opportunities can be found on the WRVO website.
