Waiye
Waiye (Somali: Waaciye) is a town in the Bari province of the autonomous Puntland region in northeastern Somalia.[1][2]

Overview
Waiye is situated in the Waiye District of the Bari province. Waiye has a number of academic institutions. According to the Puntland Ministry of Education, there are 10 primary schools in the Waiye District. Among these are Faruuq, Jurile, Khalid Binuwalid and Waiye Primary.[3] Secondary schools in the area include Waiye Secondary.[4]
Municipality
The town's affairs are managed by the local government. Its leadership is appointed by members of the area's councillors.
