William Byrd High School

William Byrd High School (WBHS) is a public secondary school located in Roanoke County, Virginia and is part of the Roanoke County Public Schools system. As well as its successful athletic programs, its music and theater programs, forensics team, and scholastic bowl team are award-winning.

Boys Basketball

The Boys Varsity Basketball team is coached by Josh Cunningham. The roster consists of six seniors, and six juniors. Last year in the 19-20 season the team record was 9-17. In the Blue Ridge District they were 4-6 which placed them 4th out of six teams. In the district tournament, they lost to William Fleming in the semi-finals. In the regional tournament, they lost to Cave Spring in the first round/quarter-finals.

The Boys JV Basketball team is coached by Tyler Goodman. The roster is unknown right now, but is mostly sophomores.
