Wilson Karunaratne
Wilson Karunaratne, popularly as Wilson Karu (born in October 28, 1942 as විල්සන් කරුණාරත්න [Sinhala]) is a Sri Lankan film actor, and stunt director.[1] Considered as one of the best villains in Sinhala cinema,[2] Karunaratne has acted in more than 240 films across many genre primarily as main antagonist.[3]

Cinema career
Karunaratne made his maiden cinematic appearance through the 1974 film Hadawath Naththo as a stuntman.[3] With that he acted more than 250 Sinhala films and 15 television serials.[4] He won a merit award for the role Nicholas in Malani Fonseka's film Sasara Chethana.[5]
