The 5th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in Southern Wisconsin, and is composed of parts of Milwaukee County, and Waukesha County.[3]

Dale P. Kooyenga is the senator serving the 5th district. He was first elected in 2018. Before serving as a senator, he held an office in the State Assembly, serving the 14th District from 2011 to 2019.
