Iliffe Media

Iliffe Media[3] publishes 38 local newspapers, magazines, KMFM radio stations and associated online products.

In 2016 The Iliffe family launched a new weekly newspaper and associated media under the banner of the Cambridge Independent, following the absorption of its former title the Cambridge News into the Trinity Mirror group after failing to return the title after the Local World venture.[4] This publication quickly attained two newspaper awards adopting a positive stance to news and strong local content printed on a higher grade paper and associated investment online. Since this re launch into publishing Iliffe Media has purchased the KM Group and long established newspapers in Lincolnshire and East Anglia including the oldest continually published Stamford Mercury. Yattendon's Milton, Cambridgeshire printing press continues to produce full colour newspapers for a wide range of clients.

In January 2017 they bought 13 newspapers in Lincolnshire and East Anglia from Johnston Press. These include some very long established papers:[5]
