Yusof Yacob

Datuk Yusof bin Yacob is a Malaysian politician who has been the State Minister of Education and Innovation.[1] He has served as the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sindumin since May 2018.[2] He is a member of the Sabah Heritage Party (WARISAN). He formerly had served as the Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat from 17 May 2004 to 19 December 2007.[3] Yusof is also the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Sipitang (1995-2008) in Sabah. He was a former member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) which is part of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, until he quit and joined WARISAN in 2018.[4][5]
