1892 South Dakota gubernatorial election
The 1892 South Dakota gubernatorial election was held on November 8, 1892, to elect a Governor of South Dakota to a two-year term. Republican Charles H. Sheldon was elected, defeating Independent A. L. Van Osdel and Democratic nominee Peter Couchman.
