The Senior men's race at the 2004 IAAF World Cross Country Championships was held at the Ossegem Park in Bruxelles, Belgium, on March 21, 2004. Reports of the event were given in The New York Times,[1] and for the IAAF.[2]

According to an unofficial count, 136 athletes from 48 countries participated in the Senior men's race. The announced athletes from  Burundi did not show.[4][5]
