2016–17 Liga IV Bacău

The 2016–17 Liga IV Bacău was the 49th season of Liga IV Bacău, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 3 September 2016[1][2] and was ended on 11 June 2017. Viitorul Curița was crowned as county champion and qualify to the promotion play-off.

Other changes

  • Tescani withdrew from Liga IV Bacău due to the financial difficulties.
  • Gauss Răcăciuni disbanded, after its owner, Cristian Postolache, bought the 3rd league team SC Bacău.[3]
  • Uzu Dărmănești declined participation in Liga IV due to the lack of funds.
  • Flamura Roșie Sascut and Târgu Ocna were spared from relegation.
