2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup

The 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup, known officially as the 2019–20 Mohammed VI Champions Cup (Arabic: كأس محمد السادس للأندية الأبطال 2019–20) in honour of Mohammed VI of Morocco, where the final is hosted, is the 29th season (not including 1990) of the Arab World's inter-club football tournament organised by UAFA, and the second season since it was renamed from the Arab Club Championship to the Arab Club Champions Cup.[1]

Étoile du Sahel were the defending champions, having won their first title last season. They were eliminated by Shabab Al-Ordon in the first round.[2] It was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Teams

A total of 38 teams are participating in the tournament; 19 from Africa and 19 from Asia. 8 clubs start in the preliminary round where two of them advance to the first round which consists of 32 teams. From then on, the tournament is played in a knockout format with home and away legs, until the final which is a one-leg match played at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.[3]

Prize money

The prize money is as follows:[4]

Final

The final will be played on 18 April 2020 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco. The "home" team (for administrative purposes) was determined by an additional draw held after the quarter-final and semi-final draws.[8]
