Alvin J. Green (born June 9, 1998) is an American football cornerback for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma State.

High school career

Green played cornerback at DeSoto High School.[1] He was a three-star cornerback coming out of high school, receiving offers from several Division I schools, such as Missouri, Colorado, and Oklahoma.[2] Green ultimately committed to Oklahoma State on August 25, 2015.[3]

College career

Green was named a Jim Thorpe award semifinalist after his senior season.[4] Green participated in the 2020 Senior Bowl on January 25, 2020.[5]

After going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Green signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2020.[7] Green was waived by the Browns on September 5, 2020.[8] The Browns re-signed Green to the practice squad on September 6, 2020.[9] Green was elevated to the Browns' active roster on September 26, 2020, for their Week 3 game, and reverted to the practice squad the following day.[10] Green was elevated to the active roster a second time on January 2, 2021.[11] He reverted to the Browns' practice squad on January 4, 2021. Green was elevated to the active roster yet again on January 9, 2021 in advance of the Browns' Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.[12] He reverted to the practice squad on January 11, 2021.

Green was signed to the Browns' reserve/futures list on January 18, 2021.[13]

Personal life

Green is the son of Nissaa Muhammad and Alvin Green.[1]
