Aimol people

The Aimol are one of the ethnic community of Manipur and Assam in India. They speaks Aimol language which is a Tibeto-Burman language.

They practice slash-and-burn agriculture and are primarily Christian. Aimol identity is contentious as they are influenced by Kukis and Nagas equally. Their language is classified as Kuki-Chin-Naga languages.[1]
