Akhuryan

Akhuryan (Armenian: Ախուրյան, romanized: Axuryan), formerly known as Duzkend or Duzkend Mets, is a major village and rural community (municipality) in the Shirak Province of Armenia. The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population was 7,113 as per the 2011 official census down from 9,696 at the 2001 census.[1]
