Aregnadem
Aregnadem (Armenian: Արեգնադեմ; formerly Azizbekov and Karachanta, Azerbaijani: Qaraçanta) is a village and rural community (municipality) in the Shirak Province of Armenia. The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population was 342 in 2010,[1] down from 407 at the 2001 census.[2]

Population
According to "Caucasian Calendar" of 1912, 678 people, mainly Azerbaijanis shown in the calendar as 'Karapapaks', lived in the village of Karachanta in the Kars District of the Kars Oblast.[3]
