Andriy Hitchenko

Andriy Hitchenko (Ukrainian: Андрій Ігорович Гітченко; born 2 October 1984) is a professional Ukrainian football defender who plays for Desna Chernihiv in the Ukrainian Premier League.

Desna Chernihiv

On the 2018 he moved back again to Desna Chernihiv[1] the main club in Chernihiv in Ukrainian Premier League. With FC Desna Chernihiv got also into the Quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Cup in season 2019–20.

On Saturday, the main football club of Chernihiv region in the face of the northern architecture of "Desna" Andriy Hitchenko awarded the winners of the children's football tournament from Bezuhlivka from the Nizhyn district.[2]

In Ukrainian Premier League in the season 2019–20 get into the play-offs of Championship round. On n 28 June 2020 he scored the winning goal against Dynamo Kyiv.[3] and has been elected Best Player of the Round 28.[4]

On 12 July 2020 during the play off of Championship round table he scored against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Stadion Yuri Gagarin.[5]

Andriy Hitchenko with the club qualified for the Europa League third qualifying round, for the first time in the history of the club.[6]

On 14 August 2020, he extended his contract with Desna for 1 year.[7]

On 24 September Hitchenko was included in the team of Desna Chernihiv against VfL Wolfsburg for the Europa League third qualifying round at the AOK Stadion.[8]Hitchenko got 21 place in the Ukrainian Footballer of the Year in 2020[9]
