Atab
Atab of Kish was the tenth Sumerian king in the First Dynasty of Kish (after c. 2900 BC), according to the Sumerian king list. His successor was his son Mashda. He is the first king whose son and grandson became hereditary rulers. It is believed that this is the first documented case of a blood inheritance of power in history.
