Besednice
Besednice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈbɛsɛɟɲɪtsɛ]) is a market town in Český Krumlov District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 800 inhabitants.

Besednice lies approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) east of Český Krumlov, 22 km (14 mi) south of České Budějovice, and 145 km (90 mi) south of Prague.
Geology
The landscape around the Besednice is also known as a site of the moldavites (an olive-green or dull greenish vitreous substance).
Sights
On the municipality common there are houses built in the typical architectural style. This style is well known as a folk baroque and it is distinctive in the villages in the South Bohemia.
