Bilia
Bilia is a commune in the Corse-du-Sud department of France, on the island of Corsica, within its Corsican single territorial collectivity. It is part of the microregion of Bisogène, the south-western part of the Corsican region of Rocca.

Politics and administration
Jean François Quilichini was mayor of Bilia from 1989 to March 2008, whereupon he was replaced by Michel Tramoni. Both mayors are affiliated to the French Communist Party.
Population
The census of the number of inhabitants of the commune is known through the censuses conducted since 1806. Since 2005, INSEE has conducted the census in five year periods, as Bilia is a commune of under 10,000 inhabitants. The population data in between the five year intervals is extrapolated or intrapolated.[2]
In 2016, Bilia was home to 45 inhabitants, a number which fell by 4.26% since 2011, while the population growth of France (Mayotte exempted) is of +2.44%.
