Bolatice

Bolatice (German: Bolatitz, Polish: Bolacice) is a municipality and village in Opava District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has around 4,500 inhabitants. It is part of Hlučín Region.

The village Borová (1921–1945 Heneberky, German: Henneberg) is an administrative part of Bolatice.

History

Since 1742 the village belonged to Prussia after Maria Theresa had been defeated.
