Chawinda

Chawinda (Urdu: چونڈہ) is a town located in Pasrur Tehsil, Sialkot District, Punjab, Pakistan. The town sits at an altitude of 165 metres (541 ft),[1] and is known as the "Graveyard of Tanks" because of the large number of tanks that were destroyed in the Battle of Chawinda during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965.
