Children of the Corn is a 2020 American supernatural folk horror film written and directed by Kurt Wimmer. It is a prequel to Children of the Corn (1984) and the eleventh installment of the Children of the Corn series.

Plot

A psychopathic twelve-year-old girl in a small town in Nebraska recruits all the other children and goes on a bloody rampage, killing the corrupt adults and anyone else who opposes her. A bright high schooler who won't go along with the plan is the town's only hope of survival.[2]

In 2020, news reported about the film to be a remake was announced and shot in Australia, during the COVID-19 pandemic.[3][4] However, the film was later revealed to be a prequel to Children of the Corn (1984).[5]
