Choerry

Choi Ye-rim (Korean: 최예림; Hanja: 崔𣫙冧; born June 4, 2001), known professionally as Choerry (Korean: 최리), is a South Korean singer. She is a member of South Korean girl group Loona and its sub-unit, Loona Odd Eye Circle.

Early life

Choerry was born on June 4, 2001, in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.[1] She attended Sungshin Girls' High School.[2]

Career

2017–present: Debut with Loona
Main article: Loona

On July 12, 2017, she was introduced as the eighth member of Loona.[3] Then, she released her self-titled single album on July 28 with "Love Cherry Motion" as the lead single.[4] On August 30, it was revealed that she will debut in Loona's second sub-unit, Loona Odd Eye Circle.[5] On September 21, the sub-unit debuted with their EP, Mix & Match.[6]

On December 13, she released "The Carol 2.0", the re-recorded version of "The Carol" from HaSeul, with ViVi and Yves.[7]

On August 7, 2018, she officially debuted with Loona with the pre-release digital single, "Favorite".[8] The group release their debut mini album, + +, on August 20 along with "Hi High" as its lead single.[9]
