The school was founded in 1986 which offers Ontario curriculum (registered in the province of Ontario as an international private school). It has students from over 50 countries and offers kindergarten, primary and secondary education in 3 separate buildings. The school was first intended as a local school for the new residential development in Taikoo Shing.

After completing Ontario program of study, and having met all graduation requirements, DSC students are awarded the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

Ontario Alternative Program (Grade 1-6)

To meet the challenges of tomorrow, DSC opened an Alternative Program for students in Grade 1 to 6 on Taikoo Shing Campus in 2018. The Alternative Program offers the Ontario curriculum.

Entrance into this program is competitive and students must successfully pass an entrance process which includes testing for English proficiency, a detailed review of current and past achievement in Math, Science, and the Arts, and an interview. High Academic achievement alone is not grounds for acceptance into the program.

Ontario Middle School Program (Grade 7-8)

The Middle School program has been developed creating a bridge between Elementary School and High School. Students remain in Homeroom groupings while rotating through subject classes taught by Middle School subject teachers.

Ontario High School Program (Grade 9-12)

The High School program, which begins at Grade 9, leads to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma and in turn for DSC graduates acceptance into universities/

Alberta Program (Grade 1-Grade 9)

In September 2015, Alberta Education was first introduced in Delia School of Canada, Taikoo Shing campus for Grade 1 to Grade 6. In September 2018, the Alberta curriculum section moved into a newly renovated home in Kwun Tong (formerly known as Delia Memorial School (Yuet Wah) ), provides education for Grade 1 to Grade 9 students. It is an Accredited International School that implements the Alberta Program of Studies, which is internationally recognized curriculum from the province of Alberta, Canada.
