Elenga

Elenga (Bengali: এলেঙ্গা) is a town in Kalihati Upazila of Tangail District, Bangladesh. The town is situated 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) away from Tangail city and 105 kilometres (65 mi) northwest of Dhaka city, the capital.[2][3]

Geography

According to geographical area Elenga Municipality is situated 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north-east from Tangail District headquarters. There is a river called Lowhajong is following near west side of Elenga Municipality.

Nur Alam Siddiqui is currently role playing as the Mayor of Eleanga Municipality; He was elected Mayor of the newly formed Elenga Municipality on March 29, 2018.[6]
