Elk Creek is an unincorporated community in Grayson County, Virginia, United States.[1]
Elk Creek is home to a local dragstrip owned by the people who participate in the races held there.

In 1997, Elk Creek was the site of the murder by burning and beheading of Garnett P. "G.P." Johnson, a black man.[2][3]
