Gómez Farías metro station

Gómez Farías is a station on Line 1 of the Mexico City Metro.[2][3] It is located in the Colonia Federal and Colonia Gómez Farías neighborhoods of Venustiano Carranza borough, to the northeast of downtown Mexico City.[2]

Name and iconography

The station logo represents the Mexican Constitution of 1857.[2][3] Its name is in honour of Valentín Gómez Farías, one of the individuals who drafted that document.[2] The station was opened on 4 September 1969.[4]
