The design is a blend of Mughal, Persian and Turkish architecture.[1] An area of 50 acres (20 ha) at the top of a 60 ft (18 m) hill was selected so that the mosque would be visible from miles away. The design includes a 325 ft (99 m) single-monument minaret.[2][3] The Mosque contains 128 domes in total. Height of the largest single dome is 75 meters. High quality beige coloured marble from Balochistan is used in the construction. The complex will be surrounded by large gardens surrounded by arch-shaped walls on all four sides.[4][5]
