Gulbarga University/ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ is a public university located in Kalburagi, Karnataka, India. Its jurisdiction extends to the four districts namely Kalaburagi, Bidar, Raichur, and Yadgir district of Karnataka. It has more than 37 teaching departments and 4 research centres and also acts as an affiliating university.

Gulbarga University started as a post graduation centre of Karnatak University. In 1980 the Government of Karnataka enacted a law and gave it the status of state university.
