Martial arts career

Ishii fought Jin Mandokoro during KNOCK OUT's 2018 SUMMER FES event. Ishii won the fight by a unanimous decision.[1]

He fought Daishin Sakai at Rizin 10, and won the fight by unanimous decision.[2]

He fought Taiga Nakayama during the KNOCK OUT 2018 Crossover event. He beat Nakayama by a third round TKO.[3]

In December of 2018, Ishii fought Kazuki Osaki for the inaugural KNOCK OUT Flyweight title. He beat Osaki by majority decision. Aside from winning the title, he was awarded ¥3 000 000 in prize money.[4]

Issei fought Petchthailand Moopingaroijung for the vacant IBF Muay Thai World Flyweight Title. He defeated Moopingaroijung by a third round spinning back kick KO.[5]

He was scheduled to fight for the WBC Muaythai Super Flyweight title against Petchthailand Moopingaroijung. He lost the fight by decision. It was his first loss in nearly two years.[6]

After failing to win the WBC Muaythai Super Flyweight title, Issei fought Nuapetch KelaSport. He beat Nuapetch by third round TKO.

Ishii fought Hiroyuki for the Battle of Muay Thai Super Flyweight title. Ishii won the fight by unanimous decision.[7]

On December 6, 2020, Ishii fought Satoshi Katashima for the WPMF World Super Flyweight title and the Battle of Muay Thai Super Flyweight title. Ishii won the fight by unanimous decision, successfully defending his BOM title and winning the WPMF title.[8]
