Jackie's Pal
Jackie's Pal is a studio album by saxophonist Jackie McLean and his quintet, his third effort for Prestige Records. It was recorded in 1956 and originally released as PRLP 7068. In 1963, like the previous 4, 5 and 6, the album was reissued on the Prestige sub-label New Jazz Records, as NJ 8290, with a different cover and retitled Steeplechase. It was also reissued on CD in 1991.[3]
