Joe Baldacci
Joe Baldacci (February 21, 1965) is an American lawyer and politician from Maine. A Democrat from Bangor, Baldacci was elected to the Maine Senate in 2020, replacing fellow Democrat Geoff Gratwick who was unable to seek re-election due to term-limits. He narrowly won the July 2020 primary against Rep. Victoria Kornfield. Baldacci had previously served for 12 years on the Bangor City Council. In 2016, he briefly ran for the He is the younger brother of former Governor and Congressman John Baldacci.[1]
Education
Baldacci earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Maine (1987) and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law (1991).[2]
