Kammanahalli
Kammanahalli is a suburb located in the north-eastern part of the city of Bangalore. It is bound by HBR Layout, Banaswadi and Lingarajapuram. The locality has become a "cosmopolitan hub" in recent years, and has earned the nickname "Kammanhattan"[1] or "Cosmopolitan Kammanahalli".[2] The Kammanahalli Main Road has seen high rise in real estate value, with retail shops, eateries, international branded chains and educational institutions in the locality increasing in number.[3]

Multiculturalism
A local melting pot, residents here incorporate various traditions, cultures and nationalities. Indians coexist surrounded by Haitians, Nepalese, Armenians, Tanzanian, Russians, Nigerians, Djiboutians, Europeans, Iranians, Ghanaians, Koreans and South Americans. Lively streets open with various traditional eateries serving assortments of nutritious traditional dishes. Restaurants like Arirang invite significant fanfare for entertainment and merry. [4]
Cultural Isolation moods still remain surrounding Kammanahalli year round as racial harassment for cultural differences yield to assault and battery, Issues affecting the black residents especially. [4][5]
