Kishoreganj Express

Kishoreganj Express (Bengali: কিশোরগঞ্জ এক্সপ্রেস) (train no. 781/782) is an inter-city passenger train of Bangladesh that runs between Kamalapur railway station of Dhaka District and Kishoreganj railway station of Kishoreganj District. It was started as experimental on 17 and/or 18 November 2013, and was supposed to run officially from 20 November. But it was inaugurated and officially started from 1 December 2013.[2][3] Besides this train, Egarosindhur Express also runs on Dhaka–Kishoreganj route.[1]

Upon inauguration, there were total 552 seats in the train.[4] On 17 October 2018, an ac coach having 50 seats was added.[1]

On 3 June 2020, railway coaches of the train was replaced with newer Indonesian-made ones. There were total 14 coaches among which, two are ac chair and one is an ac sleeper coach.[5]
