Early years
Eichenberg attended Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He played in the 2016 Under Armour All-American Game.[2] He committed to the University of Notre Dame to play college football.[3]
College career
After redshirting his first year at Notre Dame in 2016, Eichenberg played in five games as a backup in 2017.[4] He took over as the starting left tackle in 2018.[5][6][7] He started all 13 games that year and started all 13 again in 2019.[8]
