This page documents all tornadoes confirmed by various weather forecast offices of the National Weather Service in the United States during January and February 2021. Tornado counts are considered preliminary until final publication in the database of the National Centers for Environmental Information.

EF0 ENE of Culloden Monroe GA 32.897°N 83.959°W / 32.897; -83.959 (Culloden (Jan. 1, EF0)) 20:35–20:37 1.2 mi (1.9 km) 150 yd (140 m) A garage was destroyed, and up to 10 other structures were damaged. Multiple trees were snapped or uprooted.[2]
EF1 ESE of Forsyth to NW of Dames Ferry Monroe GA 33.0057°N 83.7998°W / 33.0057; -83.7998 (Forsyth (Jan. 1, EF1)) 20:51–20:55 3.5 mi (5.6 km) 200 yd (180 m) One person was injured when a mobile home was flipped onto its side near the intersection of SR 18 and SR 87. Trees were snapped or uprooted. A tornado debris signature was present with this tornado.[2]

January 4 event

January 6 event

EF1 NE of Parks St. Martin LA 30.2401°N 91.8108°W / 30.2401; -91.8108 (Parks (Jan. 6, EF1)) 04:52–04:54 1.2 mi (1.9 km) 40 yd (37 m) A mobile home was flipped and destroyed, though no one was in the home at the time. A storage building was also destroyed. Some homes had roof and awning damage. Some debris was found up in power lines. Several trees were downed.[7]

January 25 event

Numerous trees were downed, and no structural damage was reported.[8]
EF3 SW of Fultondale to Center Point Jefferson AL 33.5971°N 86.8246°W / 33.5971; -86.8246 (Fultondale (Jan. 25, EF3)) 04:40–04:54 9.51 mi (15.30 km) 900 yd (820 m) 1 death – This intense tornado touched down southwest of Fultondale and began producing minor shingle damage to numerous homes. It then crossed I-65 at the Walker Chapel Road exit and rapidly intensified to EF2 strength, snapping numerous power poles, heavily damaging a Hampton Inn and numerous restaurants. Mainly just trees were downed as it crossed U.S. Highway 31, but as it entered a heavy residential area, it intensified to EF3 strength. In this area, widespread damage to homes and vehicles occurred, including several homes that were destroyed, one of which was swept off its foundation. Numerous trees were torn down, with some debarking noted, and debris from homes was thrown considerable distances, including a hot tub that was thrown from one residence and was not found. Further along, as the tornado began to weaken slightly to EF2 intensity, Hurst Towing's company building and truck yard were heavily damaged, and Fultondale High School sustained major damage to the school building and athletic facilities. The tornado then weakened substantially as it continued northeast toward Center Point. It struck Rusk Mobile Home Park as it crossed over Pinson Valley Parkway, where numerous homes were damaged mainly by falling trees. The tornado briefly regained low-end EF1 strength before dissipating along Center Point Parkway in Center Point, south of Pinson, after having downed trees and power lines near the Jefferson County Multi-Services Facility. At least 30 people were injured.[9][10]

January 27 event

EF1 WSW of Tallahassee to WNW of Cody Leon FL 30.4074°N 84.4323°W / 30.4074; -84.4323 (Tallahassee (Jan. 27, EF0)) 16:37–17:02 21.4 mi (34.4 km) 200 yd (180 m) The tornado first touched down several miles west of Tallahassee International Airport. At the airport, a plane was spun 90 degrees and another small plane was flipped. Several airport hangers were also damaged, with some metal roofing being uplifted. One hanger had its front doors shredded, with the supporting structure for one of the doors wrenched free. Further east, a hardwood tree was uprooted and fell onto two cars in a parking lot. Tree damage was noted across the rest of the path. Some trees that were hit were likely weakened by Hurricane Michael in 2018. The tornado finally lifted just before crossing into Jefferson County.[11]
