List of songs recorded by Christina Aguilera

American singer Christina Aguilera has recorded songs for her eight studio albums and collaborated with other artists for duets and featured songs on their respective albums. In 1998, Aguilera signed a contract with RCA Records to record her self-titled debut album,[1] which was released in August 1999.[2] The album spawned four singles, three of which charted atop the US Billboard Hot 100: "Genie in a Bottle", "What a Girl Wants", and "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)".[3] In 2000, Aguilera released her two next projects, a Spanish album titled Mi Reflejo, which consists of Spanish-language versions of songs from Aguilera's debut,[4] and a Christmas album titled My Kind of Christmas, which is a compilation of covers of Christmas standards and dance-pop-oriented songs.[5]

Christina Aguilera on her Back to Basics Tour in December 2006

Aguilera's fourth studio album, Stripped, was released in 2002. The record incorporates elements of a wide variety of genres, including soul, hip hop, rock, and Latin.[6] Its singles included "Dirrty", "Beautiful", "Fighter", "Can't Hold Us Down", and "The Voice Within". In 2006, Aguilera released her fifth studio album, Back to Basics, which is inspired by 1920s-1940s jazz, blues, and soul,[7] and yielded three international singles: "Ain't No Other Man", "Hurt", and "Candyman".[note 1] Four years later, Aguilera released her sixth studio album, Bionic, which sees influences from electronic music,[8] and included the international singles "Not Myself Tonight" and "You Lost Me".[note 2] Her seventh studio release, Lotus (2012), is primarily a pop record with dance-pop and rock styles.[9] Aguilera's eighth studio album, Liberation, followed in 2018 and received critical acclaim.[10][11]
