Maggie Vision

Maggie Vision is the upcoming fifth studio album by Polish singer and songwriter Margaret. It will be released on 12 February 2021 by her record label Gaja Hornby Records and Sony Music Entertainment Poland.[3] Originally scheduled for 27 November 2020, its release was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] The album's limited edition containing a bonus track was made available to pre-order on 23 October 2020.[4] Maggie Vision is primarily a hip hop record, and includes collaborations with Polish rappers Kizo, Kukon, Otsochodzi, and Young Igi, among others.[1][2]

Music and lyrics

Maggie Vision is a combination of hip hop and urban pop music.[1][2] The themes discussed on the album include women's empowerment,[5] mental health,[6] Poland's political situation,[7] drug use, and the dark side of fame and show business.[8][9]

Singles

The album was preceded by seven singles throughout 2020: "Nowe Plemię" on 19 March,[10] "Przebiśniegi" on 17 April,[11] "Reksiu" with Otsochodzi on 12 August,[12] "Roadster" with Kizo on 11 September,[13] "Fotel" and "Xanax" on 8 and 23 October, respectively,[14][15] and "No Future" with Polish rapper Kukon on 10 November.[3] On 29 January 2021, Margaret released the album's eighth single titled "Antipop" which features Kara.[8]
