Mariner's Temple

Mariner's Temple is a Baptist church at 3 Henry Street, in the Two Bridges section of Manhattan, New York City. Originally known as the Oliver Street Baptist Church, it is a brownstone building with Ionic columns.

The Church was established in 1795 and each year, on the 4th Sunday of February, there is a celebration of the Church Anniversary. In 2012, Mariners' Temple celebrates its 217th Church Anniversary and the 27th Anniversary of the Wednesday "Lunch Hour of Power" noontime worship service. The current Pastor is the Reverend Dr. Henrietta Carter, who has served as Senior Pastor for 13 years.
