  1. Irvine resigned in 1918, and was succeeded by Stanley Bruce (Nationalist) at the resulting by-election on 11 May 1918.
  2. Forrest died in 1918, and was succeeded by Edwin Corboy (Labor) at the resulting by-election on 26 October 1918.
  3. Manifold died in 1918, and was succeeded by William Gibson (Victorian Farmers Union) at the resulting by-election on 14 December 1918.
  4. Palmer died in 1919, and was succeeded by William Hill (Victorian Farmers Union) at the resulting by-election on 20 September 1919.
  5. Howroyd died on 10 May 1917, just five days after the election, and was succeeded by Hon William Spence, (Nationalist), the defeated MP for the NSW seat of Darling, at the resulting by-election on 30 June 1917.
  6. Salmon died in 1917, and was succeeded by Edmund Jowett (Nationalist) at the resulting by-election on 27 October 1917.
