Mount Cass Wind Farm
The Mount Cass Wind Farm is a proposed wind farm to be located east of Waipara on Mount Cass in the Canterbury region of New Zealand. It will comprise up to 70 wind turbines along 7 km of a ridge on Mount Cass.[1]

- 23 November 2007 - application for resource consents lodged with Hurunui District Council
- 1 August 2008 - public submissions close
- 2 April 2009 - Hurunui District Council declined consents[2][3]
- April 2009 - decision appealed to the Environment Court[4]
- December 2011 - Environment Court approves resource consents.[5]
