Muhammad Faizullah

Muhammad Faizullah was a Deobandi Islamic scholar and poet from Bangladesh.[1] He taught at Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam.[2] He established the Mekhal Hamiussunnah Madrasah.[3]

Education

Faizullah studied at Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam in Chittagang and then at Darul Uloom Deoband.[4]

Career

After returning from Darul Uloom Deoband, Faizullah taught at Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam and continued for the rest of his life. He was also a poet and writer, proficient in Bengali, Arabic, Urdu and Persian. Including a collection of poems in Persian, Faizullah wrote a book called Faizul Kalam.

Death and legacy

His death was in 1976. Maulana Muhammad Izharul Islam wrote a biography of Faizullah titled Hayate Mufti-e-Azam (Life of the Grand Mufti).
