History
The village was located in the Armenian-occupied territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, coming under the control of ethnic Armenian forces during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in the early 1990s.
The village subsequently became part of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh as part of its Kashatagh Province, referred to as Hakari (Armenian: Հակարի).
It was liberated by Azerbaijani Army on 2 November 2020 during Lachin offensive.[1] Subsequently, Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence released a video from the village showing the state of the settlement, which has partially collapsed.[2]
