As of 2011 Indian Census, Nasrullaganj nagar panchayat had a total population of 23,788, of which 12,599 were males and 11,189 were females. Population within the age group of 0 to 6 years was 3,215. The total number of literates in Nasrullaganj was 17,073, which constituted 71.8% of the population with male literacy of 77.3% and female literacy of 65.6%. The effective literacy rate of 7+ population of Nasrullaganj was 83.0%, of which male literacy rate was 89.1% and female literacy rate was 76.1%.
